Buying the package
The complete package is sold direct by F4 at a published price with no dealer margin. It includes the Mya V4 4.8 and 6.3 wings, the 75 L R Board, the GP 106 mast, the Wahoo 540 and 700 front wings, the 150XS rear stabilizer, a board bag and foil covers. Other approved manufacturers publish their own prices, and every approved model must be on sale to any rider.
Other manufacturers
Any manufacturer can submit a model for approval. An independent Technical Committee measures the sample against the Class Specification and publishes its decision with reasons.
F4 One is an open manufacturer wing foil class with independent oversight. During set-up the class is run by F4 Foils. The plan is to move governance to an independent class association owned by its members.
The class rules are a draft and are not yet approved by World Sailing.
