Keeping an open manufacturer class fair

F4 supplies the reference equipment and is the first approved manufacturer. To keep the class fair, the draft proposes an independent Chair of the Executive Committee and of the Technical Committee, at most one Technical Committee seat for any single brand, published approval rules and fees that are the same for every manufacturer, written reasons for every decision, and an appeal to the Executive Committee.

Rule changes need a two-thirds vote of the General Assembly.
