How the class will be run

The draft proposes a class association owned by its members. National class associations form a General Assembly with one vote each, and the Assembly elects an Executive Committee.

Four working groups do the day to day work: a Technical Committee for rules, measurement and registering equipment, Events and Racing, Athletes and Youth, and a Class Manager's office for the registry and communications.

Because F4 supplies the reference equipment, the draft proposes that the Chair is independent of any equipment brand, that no brand holds more than one Technical Committee seat, and that any manufacturer can apply to have a model approved under published rules, with written reasons and a right of appeal.
